We had a fabulous time in school over the last week celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. The boys and girls completed many fun and exciting activities in their classes and together as a whole school to celebrate the Irish language and Irish traditions.

We are currently preparing for Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language week) in our school and there are lots of lovely things happening for the children.
Children are learning additional songs, poems and dances as Gaeilge and we have had a focus on Gaeilge in assembly. We are making a big effort to speak more Irish to each other – I’m sure your child can teach you some phrases!
The children are busy playing games, singing and making art to celebrate ‘Seachtain na Gaeilge’ and the school is decorated with beautiful creative pieces.

One way of achieving this is by developing strong links between school and home. With the support of City of Dublin Education Training Board (CDETB) we hold parent classes to help welcome and involve parents in school life.

Your child will bring home their personal Christmas cards today. If you wish to purchase the cards please make the payment via Aladdin. Preparations for the start of the new school year on Wednesday are now complete and we are really looking forward to seeing everybody.
